A writer, a singer, and an emcee. A landlady, a fruit stand owner, and a pineapple. A club that never sleeps in a city on the brink of upheaval.
Follow a group of artists as they strive to hold on to expression in entertainment and a group of dreamers realize their vision of life is the object of their neighbors’ disdain. Cabaret reveals the unavoidable effects of surveillance in a city brimming with unrest. Does drawing the curtains bring escape, or is it merely a distraction until escape is no longer an option?

We will be holding auditions September 25-27 & October 2-3, 2026 in Cambridge, MA. Callbacks will be October 4, 2026 in Cambridge, MA.
Auditionees should prepare a 32-bar or ~1 min cut from a theater, pop, or rock song and a backing track. Auditions will include one cold read provided upon arrival. Please be sure to arrive at least fifteen minutes ahead of your scheduled audition time to prepare.
